As an Indian traveller, I was so excited to try this restaurant, but it was a huge disappointment.

The restaurant was extremely hot inside, and we were sweating throughout our meal, making it very uncomfortable.

The prawn momo was nothing like a real momo—it was more like a puff pastry with very little prawn, served with what tasted like supermarket sweet chilli sauce. The Murg Nizami lacked authentic Indian flavour, and the GOC naan had no coriander. When I pointed this out, the server showed me a tiny piece of coriander and insisted it was there, which was quite shocking.

As someone who loves Indian food, I can confidently say this was one of the worst Indian meals I’ve had. Sadly, neither the food nor the service lived up to expectations.

The first thing I want to mention is that this is advertised as an Indian restaurant, but it is actually a Pakistani restaurant, and all the staff appeared to be Pakistani. I have absolutely no issue with that—my concern is only that the restaurant should represent itself accurately so customers know what to expect.

I visited recently and wanted to share my honest experience.

After placing our order, we had to wait for almost one hour before the food arrived. It was around 6:30–7:30 PM, and the dining area was extremely hot. The weather outside was warm, and it didn’t seem like the air conditioning was on, making the long wait quite uncomfortable.

We ordered naan, desi chicken curry, vegetable samosas, and mango lassi.

* The naan tasted like a ready-made supermarket naan (similar to those sold in Lidl or Tesco) rather than freshly made.
* The vegetable samosas also seemed like frozen, ready-made samosas that had simply been reheated.
* The desi chicken curry lacked the rich, freshly cooked flavour you would expect from a restaurant. It tasted more like a pre-made or canned curry.
* The mango lassi tasted as though it was made with frozen mango rather than fresh ingredients.

When I go to a restaurant, I expect freshly prepared food and a comfortable dining environment. Unfortunately, this experience didn’t meet those expectations.

This is not a personal attack on anyone. I’m simply sharing my genuine experience in the hope that it helps other customers and encourages the restaurant to improve.

Delicious food - can’t wait to come again!

I was over visiting from England and came to have dinner here.

We ordered Murgh Husseini, Chicken Karahi, Palak Paneer and Beef Achaari, with GOC Naan and Pilau Rice.

Every single dish was delicious, well balanced, and flavourful. The beef was tender, and the palak paneer was the best I’ve ever had; very buttery and rich. The naan was soft and well flavoured, I haven’t had naan like this anywhere else.
Server was very polite and checked in on us a few times to see if all was well.

The tables were very nicely laid out.

It was a lovely experience here.
